Fighting With Your Pocket Book: Boycott To Defend Religious Liberty

It's time we as Christians talk with our wallets. We need to stop buying and stop using any product or service from any company that would deny us our religious liberty. Let's go straight to the bathroom. Now we know by now Target will let any Transgender person use whatever bathroom they want to. The transconfused person may not be the issue, but the pervert acting like a transconfused person is the issue. There is no way to distinguish between the two because this is all based on feelings. Now I'm sure not all transconfused people are bad and not all are good just like every other type of anything on earth. Bad people will use this to hurt innocent people. That is why it is not safe. Let's get back to these companies that do not act on our behalf (Christians) but on the behalf of all things we think are wrong with this world. I know Disney is a big one and as a Christian, I think we should speak with our pocketbooks and boycott these companies like Disney. Here is a quote from Disney about the Georgia religious freedom law:

Disney issued a statement saying, "...we will plan to take our business elsewhere should any legislation allowing discriminatory practices be signed into state law."

Now I don't think protecting Christians is discriminating against others. Their statement alone shows they do not hold any values of ours as Christians. We need to withhold our money from them while praying that they change their hearts and minds. They won't discriminate against anyone by letting Christians have their freedom too.

Here is a list of some other companies that we need to watch. I do not know all of the companies, but we should keep our eyes and ears open to learn all we can about which ones we should support and ones we should not support.

Similar sentiments have been voiced by AMC Networks, which films "The Walking Dead" in Georgia, as well a list of other corporations. Viacom, Delta, Coca-Cola, Unilever, Intel and representatives for two of Georgia's sports teams -- The Falcons and The Braves. Paypal also should be boycotted. They are withholding business from North Carolina because of the bathroom bill.

Another big one is the NFL, I am tired of the NFL pushing this agenda. We should seriously consider boycotting them too.

The NFL has also warned the bill's passage could derail Atlanta' s plans to host the Super Bowl as early as 2019.

This is not an easy task, boycotting some of theses stores and businesses. For me, Target is going to be a hard one. I get all my work clothes there and some of my regular clothes there. I also get other oddball stuff from Target that I only like getting from there, but I am not shopping there anymore. I have cut up my Target red card and cancelled it. I am also not giving any money to Disney. This may be the hardest because they own movie brands like Marvel and Star Wars and I love to watch these movies. I will look for another way to watch these without giving money to Disney. 

Good luck to everyone who is talking with your wallet. I will pray for us all and I hope everyone else will do the same. We need to stick together as Christians. Show kindness and love but stand firm in our faith with Christ never forsaking Him.

The answer for me would be no. I still think there are enough people with a brain in their heads that know this is crazy. These people are sick that includes the liberals that think it is ok. I have recently read an article that really said it all. It truly is a great article and very well written. Way better than I could of done.

Why do Democrats protect the abortion industry at the cost of women and children?

Wow, the dems care so much more about tax payers funding abortion than women and little children being raped. This makes me feel physically ill. War on women just because they have to pay for their own abortion? They still are choosing to have an abortion, just not for free. What about the women and little boys and girls being sold into sex slavery? They have no choice in anything. They are not free; they are slaves. You would think it is more important to save those women and children than to fund abortion with tax payer money. There should be priorities, right? The liberals I know will say it's a women's rights issue. Why don't they include the rights of the women and children being trafficked? What about the peoples' right not to support abortion financially if they are pro-life like I am? It is just absurd that anybody would block legislation on helping women and children sold into sex trafficking. So liberals/democrats see taxpayers paying for abortion is more important than saving women and children from sex slavery.

BLOCKING THIS LEGISLATION IS WAR ON WOMEN AND CHILDREN!

Should the conversation be on race or the human race?

I think the race conversation needs to turn into a human conversation. My meaning is that all that is concentrated on is race, mainly between black and white. Why not talk about us as humans and not divide us? Let's just look at all the people in the Starbucks. Instead of saying, "Look; black and white people are in that coffee shop," how about we say, "Look at all the people in that coffee shop." There is still racism, and I believe it's on all sides. It might be because of the way a person is raised or an event in their life that happened. I don't think a conversation about race is going to change their mind, but a conversation about us as a human race with the help of God dealing with their heart just might help. We are all God's children. We need to stop dividing ourselves.

What a document! So far, along with God, this constitution has held up this great country along with its people. I am a firm believer that we need to hold to it. Letting the people who wish to rip it up or go around or under it and circumvent it is just not an option.  We need to stand for it as it has stood for us and our freedoms.

Tolerance?

As a believer I am angered at what is going on in America. Years ago believers were told to just be tolerant and don't hate. Now who needs to be tolerant? Now it seems the left and the left agenda of tolerance and acceptance doesn't give either. I am a christian conservative I follow the Bible and its teachings and they would have you believe I hate and say vile things. I have never personally pushed my beliefs on another person and never will. That does not mean I have to agree with how a homosexual lives. I do believe it is a sin but that is there choice. You see I can say that because this is America just like they can say I hate because I have said it, but to try to silence the opposition altogether is intolerant and that is the opposite of what they preach. I support Phil Robertson in what he said and what he stands for. When a person can't even stand for something or say what they believe, that seems to be against what America stands for. I also will be boycotting A&E because they are not standing for christian or American values which according to the ratings of Duck Dynasty is what the viewers wanted. As an American Believer I will stand up and my voice will be heard.
